Synchronized Swim Team

WaterWorks is the resident Synchronized Swim Team at MPHC. The championship team not only produces shows at the health club, but they perform professionally on television, for press conferences, industrial films, pool openings and private parties. They also compete nationally at United States Synchronized swimming meets.

WaterWorks is known for it's creative and balletic New York style.They have worked with some of the premier synchronized swimmers in the world, including Hall of Fame world champion Jackie Douglass, US national solo champion Bill May, Swiss national champion Gabriela Gentilini, French national champion Lea Lippert, and US national team coach Julie Thaden.

Professional synchronized swimmers from the WaterWorks team teach a weekly class for both MPHC members and non-members  on Wednesday evenings. Level 1 Synchro meets from 7:15pm to 8:00pm and Level 11 joins the class at 7:45pm and meets until 8:30pm. The class features drills and choreographed movement to music for an intense workout.
